Christina and I were married on November 14th, 1998 at the First United Methodist Church in Joshua Texas. The wedding took place at 1:00 P.M., though it started a little late due to the late arrival of the groom! I had to drive to the next town over to pick up the food for the reception because SOMEONE who shall remain nameless ordered the food from the wrong store. Christina can be seen in the picture to the left wearing her Western style wedding dress purchased at Hazel's Rawhide Western Ware Store in Burleson, Texas (they're in the book!). With her are (from the left) Christina's younger sister Jennifer, her other sister Tammy, and her best friend Amie. Notice the lack of ugly bridesmaid dresses! No pink taffita here, folks. Just a nice Western shirt and a black broom skirt.

The picture to the right is of myself and the groomsmen. I am second from the left. The others are (from the left) Chris Turner, Christopher Bovitz (best man), and Ryan Cooner (1999 Mardi Gras Dance Festival Intermediate Male Line Dance Champion!). We are wearing western cut tuxedos and back Wrangler Jeans (both available at Hazel's Rawhide Western Ware store). Christopher has worked with me at the West Gulf River Forecast Center for 5 years. Chris and Ryan are members of the Line Dance Team "Renegades", of which I have been a part of for the last several years.

Here's the proof to everyone that all is legal and binding! She's just a little bit happy about all this, isn't she?
